I made a CBO conversions campaign more than 24 hours ago, with cost cap bidding.
It’s $70/day CBO- and all the adsets say “active” delivery, but it’s only spent 9 cents. They were approved more than 24 hours ago.

My first thought was that it’s cost cap… but my cap is super high at $24.

Any reason this could be happening?

Hey Joseph

Since you’re running a new CBO campaign, Facebook has limited data on your conversion rate and costs per action. It’s basically telling you that Facebook doesn’t think it can achieve $24 costs per action on your ads.

Two things you can do to get more spend are:

1) Increase your cost cap gradually over a few days until you get more spend.
2) Remove cost caps completely and control your spend with daily ad budgets.

Within a few days of testing you should find what your true costs are and Facebook will collect more data as well. Then it’s all about optimizing your ads and dating funnel from there.

I’ve seen this issue on new campaigns I would launch on Facebook ads which has cost cap.

I’d suggest turning off cost caps to start. The cost cap doesn’t seem to work well. CPM’s are under $10 right now anyways due to less advertiser activity.

You can consider turning back on cost caps once you habe enough data.
